The Yard at Ivanhoe is a mixed-use apartment complex in Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village: one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. The 9-story brownstone building houses 630 luxury apartments and amenities ranging from Amazon locker systems to a functional training and fitness space. The complex grounds play host to The Hall on The Yard — a commissary for residents and destination for Ivanhoe’s culinary set — in addition to Orlando favorites, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream and Foxtail Coffee.
Baker Barrios led master planning, architecture, and interior design efforts for the nearly 500,000 sq ft complex. This included the primary apartment building, as well as the retail and restaurant spaces, an amphitheater, and a 1,146-space parking garage.
The Yard’s brownstone façade draws inspiration from Ivanhoe Village’s industrial origins while playing off the surrounding historic structures, connecting Orlando’s past with its present. And with this project still in its early phases, we continue to look to its future.
